I’ve recently completed my Bachelor of Interaction and Advanced Studies at the University of Sydney, with a major in Psychology. My journey first started off with a major in Data Science and Psychology, where I soon found myself bored by the endless hours of graph production, statistical analysis and excel spreadsheets. A switch from Data Science to Computer science then followed, which was accompanied by social isolation and a focus on things rather than people. Interaction and Human-Centred Design then ensued, where I found myself actively working with others on projects that involved designing technology in a way that actively integrated human experiences and the issues they were having.
